It was such a treat to stumble on an author who writes equine mysteries for adults! The principal characters in Unbridled Terror are well-drawn and the reader wants to get to know them. Some of the secondary characters (especially the terrorists) are fairly stereotypical but the story trots right along nonetheless. Based on all that, would like to have given this 4 stars. BUT, the biggest issue (and, for an avid reader, a major stumbling block) is that someone needs to proof read this author before his work is published in ANY format. The "comma monster" is rampant, and there are continuity gaps that could easily be rectified. So -- read for the story and read past the correctable errors.Product details

This novel, third in its series, is fantastic. The character and scene development is exquisite and the pace is impressive, being a genuine page turner. Look forward to more from author and thanks for the free download.
Being from Kentucky, this book brings me home with the familiar places and characters. I love stories about horses and racing, this book doesn't disappoint. Great story line , I enjoyed it all.
This is the third in Robert Monahan's "The Kentucky Chronicles" series. I have read the previous two novels by this writer and I can honestly say that his writing and story-telling keeps getting better. In this story, Mr. Monahan answers questions I had from the two previous novels, and brings closure to a storyline as beautiful as the Bluegrass itself. I strongly recommend this novel.
